elemen will be unveiling its brand-new dining concept at Great World City, named elemen Classic! It provide a special menu which features all the popular and beloved dishes of elemen, as well as newly created ones that are exclusively available at this outlet. I have tried it and i must say, you will definitely leave home happy after dinning here.
For those that have yet to hear of elemen, they are a Chinese restaurant which focus on meatless dishes. They executive it so well that you will not even realise that its meatless.
At this new outlet, elemen Classic, guests can choose to order a la carte dishes, or indulge in the six- (S$28.80/person) or eight-course sets (S$32.80/person).
To start, we have The Classic Appetiser (S$4.80): a trio of salty (Chinese), sweet (Japanese) and sour (Western) dishes. Its a very unique taste which is refreshing and uplifting.
This deserve a great shoutout! Its the Truffle Breadsticks with Blueberry Yoghurt Sauce (S$3.80). The breadsticks have a mochi-like texture unlike those dough you normally take and this are made with truffle butter. When dip it with the blueberry yoghurt sauce, the sweetness is just right and highly addictive!
One of the star dishes at elemen Classic will be the Truffle Broth Ramen (S$14.80), the soup was told to be boiled for over 8 hours which gave a creamy yet smooth finishing. They also use fine ingredients such as arrowroot, turnip, mountain yam and tangerine peel.
You must also try this Kale Tofu with Wild Rice (S$15.80) which i have been craving for even after the tasting. Its so silky and soft, when you take the first bite, it feel as if it melt in your mouth.
To end i had the Purple Rice Porridge with Coconut Ice Cream (S$8.80) which is so good! The combination is very unique and the coconut ice cream is so fragrant. They definitely end my meal well!
