One Faber Group’s popular Dusk Restaurant & Bar, unveils a refreshed menu, live music, extended cable car hours on Singapore Cable Car’s Mount Faber line, and an extra late-night happy hour slot on Fridays and Saturdays. Now, there is no better way than to end a long day at work than at Dusk Restaurant & Bar!
Executive Chef Kenny Yeo who conceptualised Dusk Restaurant & Bar’s new menu, will delight you with his signature style that melds French techniques with some Asian influences. Amongst an accolade of achievements, Chef Kenny was also honoured as the Guest Chef at the recent World Gourmet Summit (WGS) 2019 opening reception.
The updated menu introduces a new selection of tapas like Duck Rillette Au Gratin and Wine Poached Oysters, along with mains such as the Pan Seared Snapper and the Duck Confit. Tapas, desserts and snacks range from $12++ to $25++, while mains start at $24++.
I am totally in love with their Duck confit ($33) which have sarladaise potato, mesclun salad, Balsamico glaze and some truffle oil by the side. They told me that their duck is cooked for 6 hours for the skin to have the right amount of fat. Making it a wonderful combination with the meat! The meat is also well cooked, tender but not so much that it falls off the bones. Simply an amazing dish and do note to enjoy this dish with the skin and meat together and not seperately.
End your meal on a sweet note with a slice of Guinness Chocolate Cake. Deep, dense chocolate cake is baked with Guinness folded in, enhancing its rich flavours, and finished with a luxurious dollop of Irish cream.
With the menu available till late, diners can take a pause to truly unwind at their own pace. For bigger appetites, a three-course set menu is also available, comprising Crab & Mango Stack, Duck Confit, and a slice of Homemade Cheesecake for $65++. Apart from the new additions, diners will still be able to enjoy returning menu such as Tiger Prawn Capellini and Côte de Boeuf.
EXTENDED HAPPY HOUR
On Fridays and Saturdays, Dusk Restaurant & Bar will be adding an additional Late Night Happy Hour slot from 10pm to 12am, on top of the existing 4pm to 8pm slot. Guests will be able to choose from a selection of light snacks such as Truffle Steak Fries, Crispy Chicken Mid Wings and Jalapeno Poppers at $20++ for a choice of two, while selected beers, wines and spirits will go for as low as $20++ for three glasses. For bigger groups, a large 3L Tiger Tower is also available at $60++.
EXTENDED CABLE CAR HOURS ON FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS From August through October, guests can enjoy a complimentary cable car ride from Harbourfront up to Mount Faber between 9:30pm to 11:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets for the return journey can be purchased at just $5 (U.P. $33++). Diners can simply approach any Dusk Restaurant & Bar staff to make the purchase by 11:15pm, with the last cable car departing at 11:30pm.
Diners could enjoy happy hour at Dusk Restaurant & Bar, hop on a picturesque cable car ride and still make it in time to catch the last train home!
