Good news, chicken lovers! No need to travel to the West, Taiwan’s world-top selling fried chicken emporium, MONGA Singapore is launching its second outlet in ION Orchard Mall this 28th November. In tribute to the festive season, Monga will also be rolling out its special Christmas-edition flavor; the Fiery Chicken Fillet.
Inspired by Mexican flavors, this fiery chicken fillet is first deep-friend and then bathed in Mexican sauce before being baked for two minutes. The mouth-watering Mexican sauce is a secret in-house formulation with tomatoes, jalapenos, chilies, onion and pepper, giving it a burst of flavor. Available only from December 1st til 26th, this will be a time-limited flavor in both ION and JEM.
Alternatively, you can always savor their famous offerings—Taiker; dusted with Japanese sauce and seaweed powder, Hot Chick; dusted with chilli paprika powder and handmade Anaheim peppers, and The King; dusted with original salt and pepper seasoning, at any given time of the year!
In a collaboration between Nono, a Taiwanese comedian and TV host alongside Ming Dao, the King of Taiwanese Fried Chicken, Monga was born. Since then, it has generated massive sales and are always crowded with customers. Monga attributed its popularity to its fresh, tender and juicy chicken fillets unlike any other.
