This Mid-Autumn Festival, Kam’s Roast is set to unveil it’s first-ever roast duck mooncake in Singapore, which is made with Kam’s Roast Goose’s Michelin-quality signature duck. Kam’s Roast Goose, Hong Kong, has been a Michelin-starred restaurant since 2015. Free of preservatives, artificial flavouring and colouring, the mooncake comes in two variants: Kam’s Roast Red Bean Orange Peel Mooncake and Kam’s Roast Assorted Nuts with Roast Duck Mooncake. They will be available for pre-order from 16 August 2019 onwards at Kam’s Roast’s outlets at Pacific Plaza and Jewel Changi Airport.
The Kam’s Roast Red Bean Orange Peel Mooncake (S$68+ for 4pieces in a box / S$18+ per piece) boasts silky-smooth top-quality red bean paste, which is generously layered with 23-year aged premium orange peels. The fragrant peels elevate the creamy and rich filling with their citrusy sweetness and invigorating zest.
The Kam’s Roast Assorted Nuts with Roast Duck Mooncake (S$68+ for 4pieces in a box / S$18+ per piece) features a beautiful marriage of specially selected assorted nuts, including Walnut, Sesame Seeds, Almond, Melon Seed and Olive Seeds. It hits just the right balance of flavours: the earthy notes of the nuts go wonderfully with the mild sweetness of the paste as well as the savoury punch of the roast duck.
