Christmas is around the corner, and although you won’t be able to ride in a one-horse open sleigh or build a snowman in Singapore’s hot climate, doesn’t mean you can’t experience the Christmas cheer! Jingle the bells, because we’ve still got some festivities you can join in on to give you the Merry Christmas you wished for.
1. Christmas Wonderland at Garden by the Bay
Enter the magical world of the Christmas Wonderland, surrounded by beautiful light sculptures, blizzarding ‘snowfall’ (artificial, of course), and Christmas music blasting in the background, this one’s sure to make it feel like the most wonderful time of the year. Catch a glimpse of Santa during the Christmas Parade or take a trip to the North Pole and visit him in Santa’s Workshop. Feast some specialty food and beverages from the 24 huts available whilst enjoying the beautiful caroling going on in the Cassa Armonica gazebo. Don’t forget to have some fun and try out the carnival games and rides available as well.

2. Poinsettia Wishes
Get ready to embark on a jolly journey through the Nordic countries, right at the comfort of Gardens by the Bay. Be amazed by the iconic landmarks of the Nordic region, and see if you can spot out which architecture belonged to which Nordic country. Take a close look, you might just see the Bolgen Building of Denmark, Santa Claus Village in Finland, Vennesla library in Norway, and many more.

3. Epicurean Market
Celebrate another gastronomical merriment with the Epicurean Market, Marina Bay Sands’ annual hallmark food and wine extravaganza. Indulge in gourmet cuisines from over 50 booths including Marina Bay Sands’ newest upcoming restaurants or have a pick at holiday treats from the festive market. For those of you who enjoy a hand in cooking, participate in more than 12 masterclasses led by leading celebrity chefs.

4. Christmas on a Great Street
Deck Orchard Road with boughs of holly, because Santa is coming to town. Take a walk around the festive and illuminated Christmas village and treat yourself to some delicious food from the food trucks, challenge yourself to some games, or simply relax and listen to the live music performances.

5. Weird Wonderful Pasar Malam
A trip to the farmer’s market is any holiday essential, which is why we recommend visiting the Weird Wonderful Pasar Malam. Expect a selection of specially curated festive gift stalls, BBQ specialties from one of the hottest bars and restaurants in Paris, natural wines from Drunk Farmer and many more. Don’t forget to bring your family along for some craft workshops and movie screenings. Bring your pup, too. The more the merrier.
